Birthday Whimsical

My aunt had ordered a birthday card and she requested the color to be turquoise.  I made this card for her, but I'm unsure of it because I think there is just way too much turquoise and nothing of any other color.  So, I made a different card and this one I'll just keep for emergencies.  I used Garden Whimsy, Quick and Cute, and All Holidays.  The paper is Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White, and Island Oasis DSP.  My ink was Tempting Turquoise. 

Birthday Cottage Wall

This color layout was CASED from Jodie Olver on Stampin Connection.  I loved her use of DSP so I made mine into a birthday card.  The Birthday Bliss stamp set is so small, just perfect to fit inside the square punch.  I think almost every card I've made lately I've finished the inside of the card.  It just makes it look more complete and easier to write on.  Hope you like it!

Happy Birthday Card

I'm sorry it's been so long since I've posted anything new.  I'm in a bit of a computer funk (it may be called laziness) where I don't feel like even logging on.  My oldest daughter went in for chemo this weekend and I never even brought my laptop (which is typically unheard of). 

Anyways.....I absolutely love this card and have been dying to share it but I had others I finished before this one that I wanted to post first.  So, I hope you all like it.  I've been searching for a fun birthday card that I can use for just about anyone and I think I got it right with this one.  I'm not sure where I saw the color combo for the paper, but I'm pretty sure it was on SU! Gallery (sorry I didn't save the site).

I absolutely love the Birthday Bliss stamp set.  I honestly don't remember where I CASED this from or if I even CASED it from someone else.  I think it may have been from a similiar idea from the Catalog.
